Apartments are located in the Kelvinbridge area of the west end of Glasgow.
The apartments are on North Woodside Road, adjacent to Great Western
Road and within walking access of Kelvinbridge underground and all of
the west end attractions.
The apartments are located next to the Albion Hotel and are maintained
as part of hotel procedure.
Guests to the apartments can enquire within hotel reception with any
questions or help they may require.

These fully serviced apartments allow guests to enjoy the privacy and
comfort of all home comforts such as fully fitted kitchen, dining area,
en-suite access etc. Satellite television and free wireless internet access
is also available.
The City Apartments can boast 3 star self catering accommodation as awarded

in the bedroom and twin beds in the lounger area.

City Apartment Facilities
Awesome Victorian interior that has to be seen to be believed. Since
refurbishment a few years ago the Corinthian now has restaurants, bars,
nightclub and conference rooms.
Bar - The Acorn, Ambassador and Albion all have fully
licensed bars. Opening times are between 11am - 10pm.
Children - requirement for highchair/cot etc. Should
be confirmed with reception before reservation. Cost is £7 charge
per day for a cot.
Disabled arrangements - we welcome all guests but the
suitability of your accommodation should be checked before reservation
eg. stairs etc.
Dry cleaning - enquire at reception.
Internet - free wireless access for guests with own
laptop.
Latest Check in - Please note all our establishment
have a 10pm latest check in time.
Local information - Our friendly staff would be happy
to help with any local information, restaurant reservations and taxi bookings.
Locations - Acorn is situated in the City Centre. The
Albion, Ambassador, City and Embassy are all located in the West End and
only 1 mile from the City Centre. The Kelvingrove hotel is around 20 minutes
walk if coming from the
city center
Parking - Ambassador and Embassy have a free car park.
Albion and City have free on street parking. Acorn and Kelvingrove has
metered street parking charged at 10p per 30 minutes between 8am -6pm
Monday - Friday (all other times are free).
Things to do:
Botanic Gardens
The Botanic Gardens is best entered at the junction of Great Western Road
and Byres Road. From the roadside you can see the impressive glass houses
surrounded by the beautiful gardens.
Oran Mor
Oran Mor is situated diagonally opposite the Botanic Gardens. It is an
entertainment venue with a bar, restaurant and entertainment events venue.
De Courcy’s Antique Craft Parade
De Courcy’s is in the heart of the west end and is a small network
of intriguing shops, restaurants and bars.
Mitchell Library
Within walking distance to the Acorn Hotel is a stunning building that
hosts shows, exhibitions and the largest public reference library in Europe.
Glasgow Willow Tea-Rooms
Sauchiehall Street is home to Glasgow Willow Tea-Rooms designed by Charles
Rennie Mackintosh. A trip to the tea-rooms allows you to view the splendour
of the interior and study the tempting menu.

St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art
This is a 3 floor museum celebrating the world’s different religions.
There are also impressive works of art inspired by different religious

gift shop where memorabilia can be purchased from your visit.
Provand’s Lordship
Directly opposite Glasgow Cathedral and St Mungo Museum of Religious Life
and Art is Glasgow’s oldest house. This dates back to 1471 and has
evolved from a manse, alehouse and sweetshop to one of Glasgow’s
fondest tourist attractions.
City Chambers
An impressive Victorian style building now home to Glasgow City Council
Headquarters. This building spans the east side of George Square; guided
tours are available to the public.
Airport buses can be found outside arrival which will take you directly
into the City Centre at a cost of £6 per person. Please note the
bus service runs from 8am till 8pm. Taxis are also available from outside
the arrivals building. Why not arrive in style by booking our chauffeur
driven Bentley or for the adventurous our company Ferrari is available
to rent.

From Glasgow International Airport
1. Exit motorway at junction 17 signposted Dumbarton.
2. Keep right following A82 signpost.
3. Give way from the RHS onto Great Western Road.
4. Drive along Great Western Road for about 0.75 miles turning right at
Napiershall Street.
5. At mini-roundabout turn left onto North Woodside Road
6. Albion Hotel and City Apartments are on the LHS.
From North Glasgow/Edinburgh:
1. Exit motorway at junction 17 on the LHS labelled Dunbarton A82.
2. At exit keep right and then turn right at immediate traffic lights.
3. Drive along Great Western Road for about 0.75 miles turning right at
Napiershall Street.
4. At mini-roundabout turn left onto North Woodside Road.
5. Albion Hotel and City Apartments are on the LHS.
Pedestrian from Kelvinbridge Underground Station:
1. On leaving underground station cross directly over Great Western Road.
2. Turn right, first left
3. North Woodside Road is nearly directly across the road from Kelvinbridge
Underground Station.
4. The Street can be directly accessed by pedestrians from Great Western
Road.
