Euro Hostel Facilities
At Euro Hostel Glasgow we know you’re not in Glasgow city-centre
just so you can shut yourself in a hostel. But just in case you did decide
to stay in, we’ve tried to cater for your every need.
We may have cheap prices, but that doesn’t mean we cannot keep our
facilities and rooms up to date. We’ve renovated the hostel twice
in the last few years and are continually updating our offering; here’s
an idea of what you can enjoy here.
Osmosis is our in-hostel bar. Open to the public it is contemporary and
stylish. Cheap prices, free jukebox and pool table during the day, regular
DJ's, very late license and sports events on big screens make for a great
(and cheap) night out without even leaving the building.
For a quieter night in you could cook your own dinner in the roomy, guest
kitchen and sit down to relax and enjoy it in the TV lounge. The enormous
TV is accompanied by a pool table.
For real peace go up to the next floor and relax in the quiet room. Comfortable
loungers and a calm atmosphere make this perfect for reading or playing
cards. You’ll soon forget you’re in the middle of a bustling
city-centre.
We also offer all the modern necessities you'd expect; guest laundry,
secure luggage room, internet facilities including free wifi and skype.
In fact we embrace technology and, for your safety, we’ve installed
electronic key card systems throughout.
Plus, for extra protection and comfort Euro Hostel Glasgow’s top
floor, ‘No-mans land’ is a ladies-only area. Rooms here have
full-length mirrors, hair dryers and extra hanging space.
Reception is open 24hrs, with a professional security guard at night.
Reception also handles tour bookings and stocks a small shop.
The building is wheelchair friendly and we have specially designed rooms
to suit guests with mobility problems. Alarms are also fitted to alert
reception if assistance is required.
Riders can take advantage of our secure motorcycle parking.
Reception:
At reception our friendly staff will help you with your enquiries
24 hours a day.
We stock a wide range of essential items just in case you have forgotten
anything and also stock a great range of souvenirs.
You can book your tours here and we especially recommend Haggis Tours.
Our Osmosis bar is fast becoming one of the hottest bars in Glasgow and
the perfect place for you to start your night out, or finish it!
It's got a huge screen behind the bar and lots of other screens showing
all your favourite sporting events or video clips. The sound system is
fat enough to rival any of Glasgow's famous clubs. So much so we're a
favourite pre-club bar for Glasgow's famous Arches. It's also the prefect
place to warm up for a live gig as well.
There's FREE Wi-Fi (all the time), and a FREE jukebox and FREE pool table
between 12 and 5pm. Its spacious and its got a comfy seating area where
guests can chill out with their friends and relax or get into the tunes
and play pool.
There's something happening every night of the week and we're open late
on weekends... very late actually! If your coming to Glasgow for a concert
or a big night of clubbing, there's no better place to kick off the night.
