Situated in Grantown-on-Spey, the lovely capital of Strathspey, Brooklynn is a fine example of late Victorian architecture. The building retains most of the original features including its pitched pine woodwork, stained glass windows and ornate coving. Brooklynn AccommodationAll of our bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious and unusually decorated. Each room has its own seating area with colour television. Tea making facilities and hairdryers are also provided. All our double and twin rooms are ensuite; the remaining two singles have their own wash hand basin and share two toilets, a shower and a bath. Free WiFi access in all rooms to residents. Our substantial breakfasts will set you up for a day's enjoyment of the lovely countryside. In the evening enjoy a home cooked Brooklynn dinner complemented by a selection of wines and spirits. Dining Follow that with your choice of the usual suspects - eggs of all varieties, award winning haggis and black pudding, thick sliced local back bacon, delicious beef sausages, tomatoes and that lovely artery clogging, but gorgeous, fried bread. Or else you could enjoy a 'Brooklynn' , locally smoked Speyside salmon and scrambled eggs served with fresh baby tomatoes and brown toast. We offer speciality home made breads or buns on most days, and breakfast 'specials'. DINNER If you have any favourites, we'll try to accommodate your requests. We have a selection of wines to accompany your meal. Finish off your dinner with a Speyside malt and an evening stroll in our lovely gardens. We use local meat and produce wherever possible and all our ice creams are home made. As well as the traditional Scottish favourites, our menus include dishes from Europe, the Middle East, India and the Far East. We serve a variety of breads with dinner, usually home made. If you are a vegetarian or have any special dietary requirements, then, please let us know at the time of booking. We will be happy to prepare dinners for you if possible.
