Roe Deer can be seen along the side of the Kylintra Burn, feasting away on the fresh green shoots in the meadow. The Crested Tit is a permanent resident in the Anagach woods, along with the Crossbill and Scottish Crossbill. These three species, along with the Dippers, Little Grebe, Sand Martin, Osprey and the rare Capercaille, are why visitors from far afield come to this area. Castles and Distilleries The area also has some superb castles to explore, including Ballindalloch, Cawdor, and Brodie castles, all with fascinating histories and wonderful grounds to explore.
