The Solway Lodge has a wide range of bedrooms to suit all tastes and for
those wanting to enjoy their wedding day we have our special honeymoon
suite with four poster bed, fresh flowers and tasty bubbly for when you
arrive.
We can also accommodate your guests with up to 13 rooms available, recently refurbished to high standards, and you can be sure that you will have an enjoyable day with your family and friends. We also have seven comfortable motel bedrooms alongside the main hotel with full en-suite facilities, television, hair dryers, direct dial telephone and radio and tea and coffee making facilities.

Guests touring Dumfries and Galloway are within easy reach of a wealth
of local amenities. These include outstanding walking in the Moffat and
Galloway Hills, the wonderful Galloway Forest Park and
the stunning Solway Coast or the famous Roman Wall a
World Heritage site.
There is also sailing, fabulous fishing available on some of the very
best fishing rivers and Lochs in the UK. Cyclists too can enjoy the many
excellent, well marked trails in Dumfries and Galloway both on and off
road. The 7 Stanes Mountain Bike trails are renowned
world wide.
The South West is simply one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland and

names and hidden gems, not to mention its fair share of Open qualifiers.

DIRECTIONS
Its easy to find us...
The Solway Lodge hotel is ideally located at the heart of Gretna and close
to the motorway. Follow these directions to reach our hotel and we look
forward to giving you a real Scottish welcome.
Travelling form the South:
Follow the M6 north past junction 44 then onto the A74M.Take the first
junction 21 on the M74 signposted Gretna and Longtown. On the slip road
turn left towards Gretna on the B7076 and at the first roundabout with
the Gretna Gateway take the second exit to Gretna town centre. The Solway
Lodge Hotel is 100yards on the right.
Travelling from the North:
When travelling down the M74 take junction 22 off the motorway and follow
the signs for Gretna. At the Blacksmiths Shop turn left at the T junction
and 200 yards on when you reach the main road turn left. Follow this road
for one mile until you reach the roundabout.
Take the fourth exit off this heading for Gretna town centre. The Solway Lodge Hotel is 100yards on the right.
