to Huntly Castle Caravan Park Self Catering. Huntly Castle Caravan Park is personally run by Hugh and Debbie Ballantyne who are always on hand to ensure you have a great holiday. A quality service and high standards have earned Huntly Castle Caravan Park top awards from the Scottish Tourist Board, the British Holiday Parks Grading Scheme and the Automobile Association. In 1998 Huntly Castle Caravan Park was a finalist in the Calor Caravan Park Environment Awards. In 2000 we were a finalist in the Best Parks section of the Calor Caravan Park Awards and in 2008, Huntly Caravan Park was the A.A. Scottish Campsite of the Year. For those who don't particularly enjoy towing but love caravanning, Huntly Castle Caravan Park offer a number of Caravan Holiday Homes of the highest specification and quality. Treat yourself and your family to the luxury of our fully serviced holiday homes. Each Unit sits in it's own well spaced hard standing and can accommodate
up to 6 people. All of our Holiday Homes have: Attractions: With Scotland offering more golf courses per head of population than anywhere else in the world, it is no surprise to discover that there are more than 15 courses within a 30 minute drive of the Huntly Castle Caravan Park. The Rivers Deveron and Bogie provide great angling for game fishermen. Not so far away is the River Spey, renowned for its salmon fishing. In addition there are walks - from quiet strolls to demanding hill routes - swimming, all year cross country skiing, pony trekking, mountain bike hire, a falconry centre and game and rough shooting. Huntly Castle Caravan Park offers the peace and unspoilt environment of the countryside, yet the friendly town of Huntly is only a five minute walk away. Explore the many antique and gift shops and then discover the delights of traditional bakers and outdoor clothing specialists. Huntly offers a wide variety of restaurants offering you good home cooking and baking to more elaborate dining. Stroll around the attractive streets and discover some local history at the Brander Museum in the Square. Nearby the magnificent ruin of Huntly Castle is also well worth visiting. In the surrounding parkland, you can relax, enjoy the grounds or walk down to the banks of the River Deveron. Close by is Cooper Park with a wide range of sporting facilities such as putting, trampolines and Huntly Golf Club, and almost next door is Huntly Swimming Pool. Directions: From the west and north, take the A9/A95 via Strathspey or the Inverness-Aberdeen trunk route (A96), or try the Highland Tourist Route over the Lecht and through Upper Donside (A939/A944). Look out for the distinctive brown and white thistle signs when you follow
