Welcome to Ashdon Guest house!

Your hosts Sandra & Derek have been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years. Derek a master joiner to trade renovated a large guest house in the west end of Aberdeen and with his wife Sandra ran it for over 9 years before moving to Inverurie as proprietors of a pub restaurant.

Ashdon Guest House Accommodation

In 1993 they built their house nearby and after selling the pub in 2000 extended and customized the house to what it is now with 5 large en suite letting rooms.

This year they acquired a property only minutes from the house which was re-furbished to provide 2 self contained en suite bedrooms. The new rooms share the same features as the main house but with fridges and wall mounted LCD TVs.

At Ashdon Guest House all rooms are en suite, individually designed and equipped with TV & DVD players, hairdryers and alarm clocks. There is also tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing boards and private parking. The rooms in the main house also have free WiFi access.

Breakfast
The breakfast room is large with individual room seating. Self service choice of various fruit juices, cereals, fruit etc followed by cooked to order Scottish or vegetarian breakfast served with toast & tea and coffee.

Shops, restaurants and other local amenities are all within in a 10 minute walk and the surrounding area has endless amount of sightseeing. Try a walk up Bennachie, visit the Crickie stone circle or enjoy a stroll along the banks of the River Don which Ashdon guest house overlooks.

Directions to Ashdon Guest house
Ashdon Guest House is located at the south of Inverurie just off the main A96 Aberdeen/Inverurie bypass. Only 5 minutes from the Thainstone Centre & Hotel and 10 minutes from the airport.

Mainline buses stop 50 yards from the property and Inverurie train station which is a mile away is on the Aberdeen-Inverness line.
