Under new ownership in the 19th century, the present mansion was redesigned by renowned architect Archibald Simpson, who was responsible for shaping much of the present day city of Aberdeen.

There is conference and meeting space for 300 delegates, set in 44 acres
of Aberdeenshire countryside, offering eight meeting rooms. The hotel
is just moments from Aberdeen Airport, providing the perfect location
for presentations, think tanks and meetings.

Once the hard work is done there is on site clay pigeon shooting, archery, air rifle precision targeting, quad biking, grass karting, falconry and much more that can be arranged to provide a memorable and positive end to the visit.

Thainstone House Hotel is easily reached by rail, road and air. Inverurie
railway station is a little over 1.5 miles away.
Located on the A96, main Inverness Road, Thainstone is clearly sign-posted approximately 12 miles north from Aberdeen Airport, on the outskirts of Inverurie town centre.
By bus, the No. 10 and 307 services from Aberdeen and Inverness, stop outside the main gates of the hotel property.
