Here guests can relax in the evening listening to music or reading and
in the morning start the day with an extensive choice from our buffet
table including our legendary fruit salad, natural yoghurt, cereals, home
made wholemeal bread, Scottish oatcakes, Scottish cheeses and Scottish
honey, croissants and pastries followed by a hearty cooked breakfast with
fresh farm eggs, local butchers sausages, Puddledub bacon or perhaps scrambled

Local Activities
The Loch Leven Heritage Trail is a very do-able walk around the shores
of Loch Leven and many activities are available locally including golf
(with St Andrews and Gleneagles both within an hour drive), fishing on
the renowned waters of Loch Leven for the indigenous brown trout, Scottish
Gliding Union headquarters and airfield, hot air ballooning, microlight
flights, RSPB Vane Farm and nearby Balado is the venue for the annual
T in the Park music festival.
The views across Loch Leven to the Castle Island are arguably the best
in Kinross-shire. From April to October a ferry runs from the Pier to
Loch Leven Castle, this is operated by Historic Scotland and there is
a small charge.
Roe Deer
It is not uncommon to see roe deer into double figures roaming around
the neighbouring fields.
