The Bay Hotel is a family run Hotel located on the coast between Burntisland
and Kinghorn in the Kingdom of Fife within easy reach of the nearby towns

All guests have complimentary access to the Swimming pool (including
sauna and steam room) during their stay, with a nominal charge for all
other services chargeable to the room. Other guest services may be charged
directly to your room, i.e. restaurant meal, drinks from the bar etc.
All Suites are south facing overlooking The Firth of Forth, towards
Edinburgh. They all have a Mezzanine level bedroom and balcony.

Our beautifully appointed Horizons Restaurant offers you elegant dining
in a superb environment complete with stunning panoramic views across
the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh. We pride ourselves with our Bay Full
Scottish Breakfast and our Continental Breakfast. These are available
for you to enjoy whilst soaking up the surroundings.
Our experienced chefs have created a variety of exciting menus, both
à la carte and table d'hôte, expertly prepared to the highest
standards and with great attention to detail, all using fresh produce
all sourced locally and guaranteed to satisfy the most discerning palate.
We strive to exceed your expectations, and it may be possible to prepare
your favourite dish or adjust a recipe to suit. We can also cater for

Our range of facilities have been designed to appeal to both children
and adults alike, whether you wish to relax in style or participate in
the many first class leisure activities, Oasis has something to offer

Swimming Pool
Our stunning heated 15 metre indoor Swimming Pool is 1.2 metres deep throughout
and features an 'air bench' and 'water curtain'. Watch the world go by
as you relax in the warm waters and float away the tensions of the day.
There is also a children's paddling pool with 'hedgehog' water feature
for those younger members of the family.
Use of the pool is complimentary to our hotel residents and there is
a small fee for all other services. Once you have had a swim why not take
advantage of our Steam Room, Jacuzzi and recently refurbished
Sauna, for some deeper relaxation. Then finish off with
a gentle swim to cool you down afterwards.
Atlas Fitness Suite

Games and Amusements
The Mayfair Room is a dedicated snooker and pool room
that is for over 18's only. Improve your snooker/pool skills in a relaxed
friendly atmosphere, although you may find yourselves distracted once
again by the magnificent views.
For a livelier atmosphere, with background music played throughout,
our Amusement Arcade includes Air Hockey tables, Dance
Mat Machines, 5p slots and video game machines. There is something to
suit everyone's taste for those days when our British weather is not quite
as inviting.
For Children....
Also within Oasis we have our Captain's Corner children's soft play area
which includes a ball pit, bouncy castle, and climbing frame where the
youngest members of the family can play safely and work off some of that
surplus energy.
And just in case the sun is shining we also have an outdoor play park
for fresh air fun. Here children can play on all the old favourites -
swings, chutes, climbing frame, see-saw and even a flying fox. This is
situated just a few minute's walk from the Oasis Leisure Centre.

Local Towns
Kirkcaldy
Kirkcaldy has the longest street fair in Europe with over 200 fairground
rides and attractions, held each Easter on the town esplanade. Kirkcaldy
is one of Scotland's most ancient burghs, with a history stretching back
to the 11th century. It became an industrial centre in the 19th century
and was the first town to use the power loom, which revolutionized the
weaving industry. In later years it became the world's linoleum capital!
Dunfermline
Dunfermline is the historic capital of Scotland and one of the largest
towns in Fife. Its historic abbey was founded by Malcolm III of Scotland
in the 11th cent. The palace was a favourite seat of Scottish kings and
was the birthplace of Charles I of England. Dunfermline is the birthplace
of the industrialist Andrew Carnegie, and is the headquarters of the Carnegie
Trusts.
St. Andrews
St. Andrews is the home of golf, the sport having been played here for
some 600 years. The Old Course is arguably the most famous golf course
in the world, and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club is still the ruling
body for the rules of golf. St. Andrews is also home to the third oldest
university in Britain and you'll find much to explore within the town
itself.

The Forth Bridges
The world-famous Victorian Forth Railway Bridge was the world’s
first major steel bridge and ranks as one of the great feats of civilization.
It was begun in 1883 and completed on 4 March 1890. Side-by-side with
its more modern companion, the Forth Road suspension bridge, these two
awe-inspiring monuments to 19th and 20th century engineering can be seen
from either North or South Queensferry.
Fife's Coastal Villages
The Fife coast is famous for its picturesque fishing villages. To the
east of Largo bay, discover the delightful villages of Earlsferry, Elie,
St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Crail.
Largo Bay
Largo bay extends from Buckhaven and Methil in the west round to Kincraig
Point in the east and overlooks the Firth of Forth. The bay features miles
of golden, sandy beaches and is also the home of our sister caravan and

wildlife which include: Puffins, Guillemot, Razorbill, Cormorant, Shag,

Crail Pottery
Crail Pottery, Established in 1965, is set amidst a beautiful pot and
flower filled yard in the heart of Crail. Visit our pottery. See the workshops,
browse in the showroom and relax in our secluded yard under the fruit
trees.
Castles and Houses
Kellie Castle
Childhood summer home to internationally famous Scottish Architect Sir
Robert Lorimer, and his brother the accomplished artist John Henry Lorimer.
Woodland Walks, and Children's adventure playground, quizzes, and treasure
hunts.
Falkland Palace
The oldest Royal Tennis Court in Britain, built for James V in 1539. Beautiful
garden with large collection of scented early summer blooms. 17th century
Flemish tapestries, and portraits of the Stuart Kings and Queens.
Culross
Numerous 16th and 17th century houses can be seen when walking through
the town. The Palace: a 16th century merchant's house (Sir George Bruce)
noted for his internal painted walls and ceilings.
The Abbey: restored in 1633, it holds the Bruce Vault in the North Transcript
and has a fine alabaster monument to Sir George Bruce, his wife and eight
children.
Abbot House, Dunfermline
Abbot House, with its pink walls, is the oldest house in Dunfermline,
dating from 1450. Experience this historic building first hand. Details

Cluny Clays
Cluny Clays is one of the fantastic attractions set in the rolling Fife
countryside. With top of the range facilities for numerous activities

Craigencalt Ecology Centre
Situated in gently rolling hills overlooking Kinghorn Loch in Fife, Craigencalt
Ecology Centre was established in 1998 to give people a direct experience
of the natural environment.
The centre features indoor and outdoor facilities including teaching/workshop
space, a herb garden, a pond and marsh area, the Community Woodland, the
"What on Earth" demonstration area that shows
how we can decrease our impact on the planet, a Faerie trail
which involves searching for the mythical creatures around the site, as
well as Earthship Fife which is a demonstration of a
sustainable building run by Sustainable Communities Initiatives.
Kinghorn Loch Users Group
Kinghorn Loch lies just inland from Kinghorn itself. This is a place where
you can enjoy many leisure activities. The loch has canoeing, sailing
and fishing. There are walks to enjoy, woods to explore and a bird hide
to watch the variety of species in and around the loch. In summer there
is wildlife and wild flowers in abundance and in winter rolling hills
and fields to roam.
Fife Ice Arena, Kirkcaldy

The Fife Coastal Path
The Fife Coastal Path stretches from North Queensferry in the south stretching
for 150 kms to the Tay Bridge in the north. Each corner holds another
secret for you to discover, historic castles and caves, quaint fishing
villages and award winning beaches.
With rugged cliffs, long sandy beaches, internationally important estuaries
and wildlife reserves, walking the Fife Coastal Path is an experience
not to be missed!
Lochore Meadows Equestrian Centre
At Lochore Meadows Equestrian Centre you can take a horse riding lesson
in the indoor riding arena or outdoors in the jumping paddock. You can
also go for a quiet trek in the Lochore Meadows Country Park or enjoy
an off road hack around our beautiful countryside.
Edinburgh International Climbing Arena
Built against the stunning backdrop of a sheer quarry rock face amongst
the rolling hills of Ratho, this truly awe-inspiring indoor climbing centre
is one of the finest in Europe. Instructor-led courses for beginners,

The Royal Highland Show
Scotland's biggest and busiest agricultural show is held every year in
the month of June at the Royal Highland Show Ground, Ingliston (right

a giant indoor food hall and retail park, cookery demonstrations, children's
activities and much, much more!
The Dive Bunker
The Dive Bunker is a long established PADI Dive School & Dive Shop
based at Burntisland in Fife, within easy access of Burntisland harbour
and the local slipway. Dive Bunker offers a broad range of services including

18 hole golf course overlooking the historic holiday town of Burntisland
