Drumshademuir is situated mid-way between Kirriemuir and Glamis. Nestled in the scenic and fertile Strathmore Valley it is separated from the River Tay and Dundee by the strolling Sidlaw Hills. Three miles from the park sits Glamis Castle. The castle is the family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne and a royal residence since 1372. Drumshademuir Caravan Park FacilitiesTents and Tourers Our toilet and free shower facilities are immaculately kept with wash up areas for tourers and tents. We also have superb toilet and shower facilities for the disabled. There are 20 tent pitches situated on the perimeter of the park. We regret, adults only in tents. Barbecues are permitted but must be kept off of the grass. Gazebos may be used for which an additional charge will be made. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 11.00pm. Calor Gas and Camping Gaz are available to purchase on site. We offer a host of amenities to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. These include a well stocked shop selling basic foodstuffs, fresh rolls and milk, daily newspapers are to order (not winter months). There is a wonderful children’s play area and fun putting green. Have a stroll through our Woodland Walk area where you can enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding countryside or maybe exercise your dog in an ideal environment. Why not make use of our storage facilities. Have your caravan taken from storage to the park at your request and then returned to storage after use. The Park Tavern Drumshademuir features: The Local Area The glens reach far into the foothills of the towering Grampian Mountains with opportunities for outdoor pursuits from gentle rambles to serious mountaineering and skiing. The Angus Glens are included within the National Park. The network of quiet roads leading from Kirriemuir to the Angus Glens, each with a wealth of parking and picnic spots, affords everyone the opportunity to enjoy some of the most strikingly beautiful and contrasting scenery in Scotland. With so many opportunities for a wide range of outdoor pursuits the Glens offer something for all ages and interests alike.
