Balmacara Lodge is situated in the lovely tiny hamlet of Balmacara Square, which is an ideal base for visiting many local attractions including Eilean Donan Castle , Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge.

Tony having worked all his life on the railway will be only too happy to advise you. On arrival at Balmacara Lodge tea and coffee will be served with home baked cakes to help you unwind after your journey.

If it is cold and damp you may prefer a bowl of home made soup served with home made bread.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Tourist Info Centre, at Kyle. From main road turn right towards Inverness, on the A 87 after 3 miles you will see a sign on your left hand side signposted Balmacara Square, follow the road for about ¼ mile Balmacara Lodge is on your right hand side.
Getting There by Car
Travelling west towards Kyle of Lochalsh on the A87 on approaching Balmacara go passed the Balmacara Hotel on your right and take your next turning right which is signposted Plockton and Duirnish, follow this road which will take you up to the village of Balmacara Square just passed the village pond turn left, follow the road down and Balmacara Lodge is the first bungalow on your left
Getting There by Railway
A regular service runs from Inverness. Free pick up from the railway station
