There are two luxurious ensuite bedrooms with views over the gardens down to the river. The bedrooms include TV, satellite, DVD, Wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a complimentary glass of sherry. They offer a full Scottish breakfast in their magnificent panelled dining room, please tell us of any special dietary requirement you may have. Relax in the stunning drawing room or take a walk in the garden. There is ample parking for several vehicles. The picturesque Linlithgow Palace is the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and is open to the public. The Palace was left in ruins by government troops pursuing Bonnie Prince Charlie in January 1746. The area is steeped in history and is centrally located between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling with it’s castle and monument to Braveheart, William Wallace. In the surrounding area there are many leisure facilities including excellent golf courses, fishing, country parks etc. There are Scotch whisky distilleries close by where you can have a tour and sample the produce. They can organise tours or sporting trips if you let us know your requirements in advance. The area has many excellent restaurants and no trip to Scotland would be complete with a trip to the local pub.
