Two waterside cottages situated in a very beautiful and peaceful location five miles west of the village of Lochcarron where there are pubs, restaurants and shops. Both cottages have a private drive and parking and are set in lovely gardens with access to the shore. Woodside has wheelchair access. Rose & Woodside Cottages AccommodationRose Cottage has two double bedrooms which will sleep five and Woodside has three double bedrooms, a double and a twin upstairs and a double downstairs. Woodside has a bathroom upstairs which also has a shower and downstairs there is a shower room with WC and basin. Each cottage has a well equipped, modern kitchen with built in double electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge. Woodside also has a separate utility room with a washer, tumble dryer and freezer. Both cottages have lovely comfortable lounges with colour television and DVD players together with lots of books, games and some DVD’s. Woodside has full oil central heating. Electricity and oil are included in the rental price. The lounge and dining rooms of both cottages face south giving stunning views over the gardens to the sea. There is a porch at both cottages which is ideal for coats and boots and Woodside also a useful utility room. The very private gardens provide a sheltered sun trap with direct access to the shores of Loch Carron. Woodside has a 5 metre boat shed for storing bikes and canoes etc. Attractions Lochcarron has a nine hole golf course and clubs can be hired from the club house. There are varied routes for cyclists and the many interesting islands are superb for canoeing and sailing around. Bicycles, canoes and boats can be hired locally. For the angler there are books with information on sea, loch and river fishing (the river Carron has both salmon and sea trout - licenses available locally). This is an ideal base for touring the West Highlands and visiting Skye and whether you want to walk, rest or take in the lovely views, this is the most beautiful place to relax and unwind.
