Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Self Catering. Comprising The Byre for 2, Lochside for 4/5 and Holly Cottage for 5, Clashmore Holiday Cottages offer comfortable accommodation on the beautiful Stoer peninsula. Close to Stoerhead lighthouse and some wonderful sandy beaches, this is a real get away from it all destination.
The Byre looks out towards the waters of the Minch. Recently renovated throughout, it comprises an open plan living space, one double bedroom and a bathroom.
Situated in an excellent location overlooking the Loch and out towards the waters of the Minch, The Byre is the place to stay if you just want to be alone with the person you love.

· a modern kitchen / dining room / lounge;
· bath and shower room;
· a double-bedded room.
Lochside is in a secluded location overlooking Loch na Claise. It has one double bedroom and one twin, plus a foldaway bed if required, a dining-kitchen, separate lounge and a family bathroom.
Set in a quiet, secluded location overlooking Loch na Claise, this former crofthouse has been renovated and now incorporates:
· a modernized and well-equipped kitchen / dining room;
· lounge;
· double bedroom;
· twin-bedded room;
· bath / shower room.
* A fold-away bed is also available
Holly Cottage is a former croft house. Modernized throughout, it comprises a modern kitchen/dining room, a separate lounge, a bath/shower room, two doubles and one single bedroom. Open all year. Rates from £180-£400 per week.
For peace, quiet and just getting away from it all, Holly Cottage is ideal. A former crofthouse, it has been renovated and now contains:
· a modern kitchen / dining room;
· lounge;
· bath / shower room;
· 2 double-bedded rooms;
· single bedroom.
Facilities
Available to all three holiday cottages are a freezer, washing machine
and tumble dryer, and a pay-phone. Each cottage is fully equipped and
includes colour television, DVD and CD player, hoover, microwave, iron,
duvets, linen and towels. If you are staying for a two week period or
longer, then a change of linen is provided. A child’s cot is also
available.
The cottages are amply supplied with electric heaters, and storage heating is available in the winter months. Electric is by £1 coin meter. Car parking is provided at each cottage.
Arrival time is from 4.00pm onwards, and departure time by 10.00am. If you are going to arrive after 7.00pm please advise.
Pet Policy
As there are farm animals in the area we regret dogs cannot be permitted.
Smoking Policy
All the cottages are non-smoking.
There are shops, petrol, restaurants, and a bank in Lochinver - nine miles away. Fishing is available on your doorstep, with a boat for hire, on Loch na Claise.

We are located in the North West Highlands of Scotland. Viewed by many
as one of the last unspoilt wildernesses of Europe, it does take a little
time to get here but you will be rewarded by beautiful views and locations
that make it a pleasure to travel.

Many visitors choose to travel to Inverness then hire a car for their
stay in the Highlands.
Directions to Clashmore
Please allow enough time for getting here when driving - single track
roads need to be treated with respect, especially if your first time here.
Clashmore is nine miles North-West of Lochinver. Follow the A837 road
towards Lochinver and turn right on to the B869.
One mile beyond Stoer village, turn left towards the lighthouse and then take the second turn on the left, then first left and follow this road to its end.
Getting to Inverness
By Plane:
Inverness Airport is well serviced for links throughout the UK and more
European links are opening all the time. London flights can be caught
from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Hire cars can be collected
from the airport, or there are regular bus links to Inverness itself.
The drive from the airport to Stoer is between 2 and 2.5 hours.
By Train:
Rail links to Inverness are regular throughout the day and from most parts
of the UK. This includes a sleeper service from London.
Car Hire:
There are a number of car hire companies in Inverness that can supply
cars for your visit, for collection in town or at the airport.
