Creigard Bungalow
The accommodation comprises an open plan lounge / dining room,
making the most of the glorious views. It is attractively furnished with
three-piece suite, colour satellite TV, DVD player and cassette radio,
pine dining table and chairs.
The kitchen, in light oak, is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave,
washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge and coffee percolator. Highland Stoneware
crockery makes 'eating in' a pleasure.
There are two tastefully furnished bedrooms, which face the hills and
a lochan - a comfortable double-bedded room and a cosy twin-bedded room.
The bathroom has a full size bath, shower, wash-hand basin, wc, heated
towel rail and shaver point. There is an entrance porch that offers ample
space for coats and walking boots. On the terrace, overlooking the sea,
a wooden bench table and individual chairs give you the chance to enjoy
eating in the fresh highland air.
Electricity is paid for by a £1 coin meter. We regret we cannot
accommodate pets and operate a no smoking policy.
Creigard Cottage
Our comfortable cottage, set in a secluded part of the garden,
has a light and airy but cosy feel. Its large windows give you the views
of heather-clad hills, the sea and distant mountains to enjoy. Outdoor
tables and chairs have been placed at either end of the cottage for your
convenience.
The accommodation consists of a tastefully furnished lounge with a comfortable

The kitchen/dining room is open-plan and equipped to a high standard including
electric cooker, microwave, washing machine/dryer, fridge and coffee percolator.
You will enjoy using the hand-painted Highland Stoneware oven and tableware.
The delightful bedroom, furnished in pine, has a double or twin beds and
two windows facing south and east. The shower room is en suite with wc,
wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and a shaver point.

Getting to Creigard Self catering By Car:
North from Inverness to Ullapool and A835 to Ledmore Junction, left on
A837 to Lochinver and go south through village. At fork that goes right
to the harbour, take left fork for Badnaban, Inverkirkaig and Achiltibuie.
After approximately two miles take right-hand road to Badnaban. After
200 yards fork left up a private road . We are the first and only bungalow
on the left.
In the area
Two miles away is the attractive village of Lochinver - the 'capital'
of Assynt. Here is everything you need - the nearest grocery store, butcher,
green-grocer, hotels, restaurants, post office, doctor, tourist office
and craft shops. It is an ideal centre for exploring Sutherland - the
rugged coast and hills to Cape Wrath, a day trip to the nature reserve
of Handa Island with nesting birds, a scenic drive to Achiltibuie with
its Smokehouse selling tempting local delicacies, and a Hydroponicum with
exotic plants, the golf courses at Dornoch, Golspie, Ullapool and Durness,
and the famous Caithness village of John O'Groats - the choice is endless.
