has been finely furnished and decorated with the advice of our Curator,

should not mean having to forego modern conveniences and you will find
all the comforts of home there, including dishwasher, dryer and other
facilities.
Harmony Self Catering Accommodation
The property sleeps up to twelve in a 4 twin bedrooms, 1 double en-suite
room and 2 single bedrooms, 1 bathroom with WC, 1 shower room with WC
and separate WC.
Magnificent drawing room with open fire, dining room, kitchen, laundry
and drying room.
Harmony Self Catering Facilities
Harmony Garden is a delightful, tranquil walled garden
comprising lawn, herbaceous and mixed borders, vegetable and fruit areas,
and a rich display of spring bulbs.
The garden is set around an early nineteenth-century house (not open to
the public), built by a Melrose joiner, who named it after the Jamaican
pimento plantation where he had made his fortune. It is situated on the
A6091 next to Melrose Abbey, near Priorwood Garden & Gift Shop, also
owned by the Trust.
A good selection of shops is available in Melrose including those selling
knitwear, tweeds, books and antiques.
There is also an excellent choice of hotels and restaurants for eating
out.
Although Harmony House is a self catering property, we
would be delighted to recommend local caterers should you wish to spoil
yourself.
Melrose town provides a good number of various types
of eating places including hotels, restaurants and cafes.

Attraction
From Harmony, it is only a short walk to Priorwood Garden
abd Gift Shop.
Priorwood is a specialist centre for the craft of dried flower arranging.
Most of the flowers are grown for this purpose and the colourful selection
brings variety to the arrangements made here.
You can also learn more about this fascinating craft as there is ongoing
drying most of the time.
Otherwise you can simply enjoy the blossoms, especially in spring, or
pause for a summer picnic within sight of the ruins of Melrose Abbey.
The garden also includes an orchard where you can see the historic apple
varieties being grown organically.
