Guest House is situated about 11/2 miles from Jnct. 15 on the
M74 in a quiet residential avenue ,we are about 5 minutes walk from Moffat
town centre.
Built in 1863, Rockhill is a large comfortable Victorian house where
the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
As we are a large Guesthouse, we can cater for groups as well as individual
travellers.
All guests are assured personal ,efficient attention and a very warm welcome
to our home.
We currently hold the cup for the Best Commercial Garden in Moffat 2009.
Rockhill is situated in a quiet residential avenue which provides ample
street parking at the front but we also have a private area for cars behind
the house .

We have a mix of double, twin, family and single rooms, all either en-suite
or with private bathroom.
Two of our family rooms are on the ground floor to help those guests with
mobility problems.
Each room is equipped with colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
We offer a wide choice of breakfast options to suit all tastes and for
guests who require dinner, there is an excellent choice of restaurants
and hotels on the High St., which is only 5 minutes walk from the house.
Our well-established business looks out over the local tennis courts and
bowling green and has views of the beautiful Moffat valley and surrounding
countryside from all the rooms.

It is wonderful walking country, has a good golf course plus plenty of
local fishing and bird-watching.

this area are quieter and offer a safer environment for these pursuits.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Moffat Tourist Information Centre - travel north along High Street
into Academy Road and up to local school (moffat Academy).
Turn right at large flower-bed beside school into Beechgrove.
Rockhill is approx 300 yards along Beechgrove on right.
