back to 1875.
The Links Hotel is set in the picturesque town of Montrose, it is located
close to the centre and is within walking distance of the 5th oldest golf
course in the world and the 3 miles of golden sand of Montrose Beach.
This former Edwardian townhouse can be found opposite the historic Mid
Links and is an excellent choice for private guests, smaller groups and
families.
The food and service is highly commended and for more informal eating,
the Dutch Koffiehuis will delight you with an exciting mix of Scottish
and continental cuisine.
Links Hotel Accommodation
The hotel has 25 light and airy bedrooms and all are en-suite with bath
and/or shower.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, television, and telephone
with data point, trouser press, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, writing
desks, and iron/ironing board as standard including complimentary High
Speed Internet Access for our in-house guests in the bedrooms and throughout
the hotel.
All in all, the comfortable bedrooms will be available to suit all types
of guests - singles, doubles, twins and superior rooms.
All are serviced daily to the highest of standards and are non-smoking.
Our normal check-in and check-out time is 12noon, however should you arrive
early or need a late departure then we will do all we can t accommodate
you often without charge if availability allows.

there are also some other hidden gems for golfers to explore e.g. Arbroath,
Brechin, Edzell and Stonehaven, Etc.

of golf have been safeguarded for over six centuries.

The rivers North and South Esks lie side by side in Angus providing the
connoisseur angler with a choice of fishing through spring, summer and

Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Tourist Information Centre travel into the town centre and then
turn right into John Street, at the third junction on John Street turn
right.
After approximately 100 yards the entrance to the hotel car park is on
the right.
Getting There by Railway
From Montrose Station the Links Hotel is situated a few minutes walk away,
if you have luggage we suggest you take a taxi. If you walk it is only
200 yards to the main High Street via Hume Street, cross over the High
Street turning into New Wynd just after the second junction on the left
is the Best Western Links Hotel.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Aberdeen Airport the Links Hotel is approximately 45 miles.
The easiest way to reach Montrose is by train.
The north east line runs from Dyce Train Station which is directly opposite
the airport.
The alternative is to drive taking the A947 from Dyce to Aberdeen and
then the A90 from Aberdeen turning off at the Marykirk junction onto the
A937.
It is approximately 9 miles to Montrose from here.
Upon reaching the town centre turn right into John Street and take third
on right.
