Redburn Steading is an old stone building which was converted recently to provide luxury self catering holiday accommodation sleeping 6/7 in beautiful countryside just seven miles inland from the coastal town of Nairn in the Scottish Highlands.

Our holiday cottage is modern, light and spacious and finished to a high standard.
For fishermen we have the River Findhorn and trout lochs just minutes away and about 17 golf courses within very easy reach.
The hills, moors and woods around us provide a superb area for walkers and cyclists.

Aviemore is only half an hour away and is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast and Nairn boasts spectacular beaches.
Redburn Steading luxury holiday cottage provides the ideal self catering accommodation for you to enjoy a varied interest holiday in this superb location close to Nairn.

Redburn Steading Accommodation

The accommodation consists of a large through lounge/ diner with television, DVD player and HiFi.
The kitchen is spacious, modern and well equipped with a washer/drier, fridge/freezer etc.
There is one large double bedroom downstairs which has zip and link beds for flexibility and an en suite bathroom.
This room has patio doors to the terrace.
Upstairs there is a large twin room with an en suite shower room and the third bedroom is very large with a king sized bed and a double sofa bed.
It also has an en suite shower room.
All the bedrooms have televisions and good views over the surrounding country side and garden.
Equipped and finished to a high standard with every need catered for.

For eating out there is The Cawdor Tavern in Cawdor village and a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs in Nairn, and Forres and Grantown both 20 minutes away.
Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is 30 minutes away and also has a wide variety of restaurants plus a very good theatre and of course many shops.

Golf
The coastal town of Nairn with its spectacular beaches and championship golf courses is just 10 minutes away as is the pretty Heritage village of Cawdor with its castle of “Macbeth” fame.
Fishing
There are two trout fishing lochs just a few minutes away and the River Findhorn runs near by.
Cycling
There are many opportunities for cyclists and walkers to explore the lovely surrounding countryside from the doorstep and golfers can choose from the 17 courses in the area including the brand new Castle Stuart Links.
Riding
For horse riders there is a very good riding centre 5 minutes away.
Walking
Aviemore with its many attractions is about 30 minutes away As well as skiing and boarding there is The Cairngorm Funicular Railway, quad bike treks, white water rafting and the Highland Wild Life Park.

Directions
Inverness airport is 25 minutes away and there is a railway station at Nairn.
We are located on the corner of a lane off the A939 road connecting Nairn with Grantown-on-Spey and easily found on the first turning to the right signed for Ardclach, the Ardclach Bell Tower and Dulsie Bridge when approaching from Nairn ( about 7 miles ).
Coming from Grantown take the second turning on the left signed for Ardclach etc ( about 15 miles ).
Getting there from the Information Centre

From Nairn : Continue on the A96 towards Aberdeen and take the A939 signposted Grantown on Spey for approximately seven miles until a right turn signed for Ardclach Bell Tower and Dulsie Bridge.
Turn immediately right into Redburn House and the Steading is directly ahead.

From Grantown
: Take the A939 for about 15 miles signed for Nairn until the second left turn signed for Ardclach and Dulsie Bridge having passed over a bridge over the River Findhorn.
Turn right into Redburn House and the Steading is straight ahead.

Getting There by Railway

Nearest railway station is Nairn.
There is no public transport so a taxi would be required.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Inverness Airport is twenty minutes away and hire cars are available on site.
From the airport proceed along the A96 in the direction of Aberdeen and in about 1 ½ miles take sign for Cawdor
(B9090) follow for approx 6 miles past Cawdor until the A939 is reached.
Turn right towards Grantown on Spey and in about 6 miles take right turn signed for Ardclach and Dulsie Bridge then immediately right into Redburn House and the Steading is directly ahead.
