Glenroy Guest House is an elegant Victorian House situated in one of the most scenic locations in Scotland overlooking Oban bay. The House is family owned and run by Louise Tran & family and prides itself on its friendly and warm atmosphere, comfort, and high level of personal service. The house is situated above the town centre and only a four to five minute walk to all local amenities including shops restaurants trains & ferry terminals. Glenroy has its own private off road parking. Oban is perhaps most famed for being the 'Gateway to the Isles' with regular and frequent ferries offering services to Mull, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree, Lismore, Barra and South Uist. Mull and Iona can be visited as a day trip with the ferry crossing to Mull taking around 40 minutes. Glenroy Guest House AccommodationAll rooms offer a high standard of comfort and are tastefully decorated to conserve the original character of the house. Wea have a choice of 4 double rooms fully en-suite, 1 single room fully en-suite and 1 twin room with en-suite toilet & hand basin & a separate private shower room. All rooms have TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities, radio alarm hair dryer and shaving point. Children over 11 welcome. Guests are welcome to use the comfortable lounge at any time during their stay. Breakfast Alternatively if you are catching an early ferry let us know & we will organize a tray in your room. If you have any special dietary requirements (please advise us in advance). Major Credit/Debit Cards Accepted. Oban is also an excellent base for outdoor activities such as hill walking, diving, cycling and photography with a fine selection of forest walks not too far away.
