The lounge has a 42 inch telly, Wi-Fi, books, board games and jig saws, just in case it's raining! Every weekend we have live music, Friday is karaoke, Saturday and Sunday afternoons we have live bands - scottish, irish, folk, country, blues, pop covers- you name it we cover it! We also cater for parties, birthday, anniversary... any old excuse... Local Attractions McCaig's Tower perches above the town offering panoramic views across the bay to Kerrera and Mull. Oban Distillery, founded in 1794, offers daily tours and tasting. The Sea-life Centre is a short drive north of town and is a fun day out for kids of all ages! There are numerous small boats offering trips to the local seal colony, evening fishing trips and hourly trips further afield to the castles of Mull. There is a lively yacht marina, sea food restaurant and bar 8 minutes away ,by complementary ferry, on Kerrera. Oban is a busy local community, supporting many bars and restaurants. The bay is very picturesque and provides a living for several small creel boats. There is also a bigger fishing fleet working the deeper waters beyond.
