Seafront apartment with panoramic views of Oban Bay and Islands beyond. The 3rd floor apartment is centrally situated on Oban's seafront with fantastic panoramic views across the Bay to the Islands of Kerrera, Lismore and Mull. The accommodation is in a traditional Victorian building which was formerly the offices of the local newspaper, "The Oban Times" and is minutes from the bus and rail stations. The Oban Times Building No. 3 AccommodationThe apartment is non-smoking and is for a maximum of two adults. Unfortunately is not suitable for children, babies or pets. The accommodation comprises one twin bedroom with bed linen supplied. There is a spacious lounge with dining area, colour TV and CD player. The large lounge with bay window to the front overlooking Oban Bay. Relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the islands. The view from the lounge side window is over the bay and the north pier. Watch the ferries come and go from the islands. The lounge has two large comfortable sofas. A television with freeview, DVD and a CD player. The kitchen has microwave, cooker, fridge and freezer. Views from the window are across Oban Bay. Watch the ferries pass the window while you cook breakfast! The bathroom has double shower. Gas and electricity are included in the rental. There is no lift to the flat, but access is by a wide staircase. The flat does not have its own parking but there is metered parking on the pier opposite or free parking approximately 7 minutes walk away. It is ideally situated for visitors arriving by train or bus being only a five minute level walk from the train and bus stations. Weekly bookings only April to September. After a busy day exploring the area, relax in the rocking chair with a glass of wine or a glass of Oban Malt Whisky, a good book and enjoy the glorious sunsets over Oban Bay. Activities Oban has a wide variety of shops and restaurants, all within a short walking distance of the apartment also leisure facilities including a swimming pool, tennis, bowling and a golf course.
