Oban hotel Wellpark House is attractively situated in a quiet and sunny position on Oban's Esplanade, with outstanding views from the from the public rooms to the islands of Lismore, Kerrera and Mull.

Wellpark is an outstanding example of Victorian architecture, and in addition to it's interesting exterior columns has a fine wooden staircase with superb panelling.

Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room overlooking the Bay, and provides an opportunity to savour the local Oak Smoked
Kippers.

Wellpark House Accommodation

All 19 bedrooms at Wellpark House are attractively furnished to a high standard. Each room is equipped with a private shower and toilet, television, radio and a hospitality tray with complementary tea, coffee and water. All rooms are centrally heated.

Most of our rooms enjoy outstanding panoramas over the Oban Bay. Sunrise and sunset in particular provide exciting times for the photographers to capture the superb effects for which the West Coast is famous.

The sitting room is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. As you would expect this room has outstanding views over the Oban Bay to the isles of Lismore kerrera and Mull.

Dining
Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room overlooking the bay. Guest can sample a traditional Highland breakfast or savour the local oak smoked kippers.

Within easy walking distance of Wellpark House there is a comprehensive range of restaurants, bars and hotels providing cosmopolitan cuisine to suit all tastes.

Activities and Attractions
Around Oban there are activities for all the family, ranging from an exciting boat trip courtesy of Sea.fari, a visit to Oban Distillery, Atlantis Leisure Centre with its water slide, and the Oban Seal Sanctuary with a seal pup nursery and touch pools.

Discover the countryside, on horse back with one of Oban’s many riding schools or perhaps grab yourself a Munro.
Play golf at Oban’s 18 hole golf course, or take to the clear waters around Oban and Lorn for sailing, sub-aqua diving, canoeing and sea angling.

DIRECTIONS
Oban is situated in the heart of the most beautiful natural scenery on the West Coast of Scotland. Wellpark House is attractively situated in a quiet and sunny position on Oban’s Esplanade. The house has outstanding views over Oban Bay towards the islands of Lismore, Kerrera and of course Mull.

From Glasgow:
D rive up the side of Loch Lomond on The A82. Continue on the A82 until Crianlarich.

From Edinburgh and Stirling:
Take M9 then A84 through Callander and A85 through Crianlarich. Turn left at Tyndrum towards Oban.

For visitors travelling by train, there are 3 trains a day from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Oban. Buses also run from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Oban. There are between 2 and 4 buses a day.
