and a large smiddy lounge.
There are 2 zed beds for childrenTo ensure that you enjoy the unique character
of the cottage, we have left many of our treasured possessions, books
and games for your enjoyment.

The Old Smiddy is an excellent venue for Family Groups, Golfing,
Fishing and Shooting Parties.
The cottage is large enough for everyone to find a quiet niche.
Golf
Golf packages can be arranged through the local Tourist Board giving access
to some of Perthshire's most attractive golf courses.
Fishing
Located 3 miles from Stanley and close to the Ballathie and Taymount beats
of the River Tay,.
The Old Smiddy is an ideal base for fishing on the middle
and lower beats of the Tay.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Perth Tourist Information Centre head north for Inverness.
This will bring you onto the A9 north.
From Perth head along A9 for 4 miles.
Take B9099 to Stanley.
Half a mile past Stanley turn right on road to Kinclaven and Blairgowrie.
The Old Smiddy is 2.2 miles along this road.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh or head north to Perth then follow A9 north from Perth
for 4 miles.
Take B9099 to Stanley.
