Holiday Castle Tay View is a Scottish baronial style castle (1784),
designed by the famous Robert Adam.
Tay View (6 Pitfour Castle) is an elegant, beautifully restored and maintained
first floor apartment set in 6 acres of mature gardens, in the heart of
Perthshire.
There is a magnificent semi-circular bedroom with a 6 foot four-poster
bed and adjoining dressing room.
There are panoramic views towards the River Tay from both the drawing
room and bedroom.

The apartment sleeps two and access is gained via a grand staircase to
the Castle door and comprises an entrance hall, large sitting room with
dining area, well equipped galley style kitchen with breakfast bar, large
bedroom with dressing room and ample storage, and quaint bathroom set
in the turret.

Electric central storage and central heating, all bed linens and towels
included.
The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer and tumble drier, cleaning materials
and kitchen linen.
A large screen TV, DVD player and Satellite system, radio, CD players
and a hairdryer are also provided.
There is a large shared garden area, cot (and linen) and high chair both
available on request.
Smoking is restricted and unfortunately pets are not permitted.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Perth Tourist Information Centre turn right and at end of road turn
left and then right onto New Row.
At end of Road turn left onto County Place and follow road onto South
Street.
Once over the Queens Bridge turn right heading for Dundee A90.
Approximately 6 miles from Perth take the exit foe Glencarse, St Madoes.
Turn right into St Madoes.
The Castle drive is second on the right after the community centre.
Take right hand fork.
Park in front of the Castle.
Tower View can be found to the left of the main staircase through the
black gate.
Getting There by Railway
From Perth railway station take the A90 towards Dundee.
Approximately 6 miles from Perth take the Glencarse, St Madoes exit. Go
through St Madoes towards Errol.
Passing the shop and community centre on the left the Castle Drive is
the second road on the right after community centre.
Where the drive forks keep right.
The entrance to the apartment is through a black gate to the left of the
main steps.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Both Edinburgh and Glasgow head north towards Perth then take the
A90 towards Dundee.
Approximately 6 miles from Perth take the Glencarse, St Madoes exit.
Go through St Madoes towards Errol.
Passing the shop and community centre on the left the Castle Drive is
the second road on the right after community centre.
Where the drive forks keep right.
Please park the car in front of the castle.
The entrance to the apartment is through a black gate to the left of the
main steps.
Getting There by Ferry
From ferry terminal at Rosyth head north towards Perth then take the A90
towards Dundee.
Approximately 6 miles from Perth take the Glencarse, St Madoes exit. Go
through St Madoes towards Errol.
Passing the shop and community centre on the left the Castle Drive is
the second road on the right after community centre. Where the drive forks
keep right.
Please park the car in front of the castle.
The entrance to the apartment is through a black gate to the left of the
main steps.
