This family run self catering business combines a high quality service
with comfortable and attractive accommodation and is also Graded 3 star
by VisitScotland.
River Edge Lodges are by the banks of the beautiful River Earn and overlooked by imposing Moncreiffe Hill, which is worth a climb to be rewarded by spectacular views over Perth, the River Tay and the Lomond Hills of Fife.
River Edge Lodges Accommodation
There are 14 self-catering holiday lodges at River Edge. We have 4 different
styles of lodge. All lodges have ample parking for 2 or 3 cars.
Kitchens are fully equipped, including an electric oven and hob, washer/dryer,
fridge, microwave. Moncreiffe Lodges also have dishwashers.
Two bedroom lodges, arranged around a grassy park area. Mum and Dad can
see the children playing from their lounge, kitchen and balcony.
There is a double room, a twin room and a double bedsettee in the lounge.
There is a separate kitchen and a bright airy lounge.
Bathroom has bath and shower.

Here at River Edge Lodges, we have the fishing rights on the River Earn
for brown trout for our side of the bank.
We do not charge our visitors to fish here.
Willowgate Fishery
Trout loch and Salmon fishing on the River Tay 3 miles away near Perth.
Outdoor pursuits are abundant with pony trekking, cycling, walking, tennis,
bowls and golf all available nearby, as well as some of the best fishing
in the world.
The water sports enthusiast is extremely well-catered for at nearby Loch
Tay and Lochearn.
Try river rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, to name but a few.
Skiing at Glenshee
Only a 50 minute drive from River Edge Lodges, is the UK’s most
extensive ski area, extending over 4 mountains and 3 valleys. Glenshee’s
impressive 38 runs cater for beginners right through to advanced.

From the South
Cross the Forth Road Bridge
From M90 leave at Junction 9 and drive into Bridge of Earn Village
Part way along the main street, opposite the Bowling Green, turn right
down Dunning Street.
At the bottom of Dunning Street turn left and you will see us 100 metres
ahead.
From the North
From M90, leave at Junction 9 and follow directions as above.
You can drive up to Balmoral via the spectacular Glenshee skiing
resort, which is an hour’s drive away.
St Andrews to the East is 40 minutes away.
From there you can explore the East Neuk of Fife, with its tiny picturesque
fishing villages, including Anstruther and its famous fish and chip shop,
and Crail, one of the most painted harbours in Europe.
You can get to the Hebrides for a day or stay overnight.
Dundee is 25 minutes drive away.
Edinburgh is less than an hour and Glasgow is an hour away.
