Stable
Cottage came with our home and as we enjoyed the area so much
ourselves we decided to market it for holidays.
Stable Cottage Accommodation
This one bedroom detached traditional Cottage is south facing catching
all day sun.
It looks up to Huntingtower Castle and has a courtyard area at the front
and a secluded and enclosed rear garden with outdoor seating and barbeque.
Fully tiled Bathroom with recently fitted suite incorporating luxury 'Shower
Bath', double bedroom with storage and ample room for a folding bed or
cot, which we can supply free of charge if required.
Stable Cottage Facilities
Ample private and secure parking to the door and full gas central heating.
Inside is a large Lounge with modern flame electric fire, full double
bed sized leather bed-settee, Satellite TV and DVD, pleasantly fitted
Dining/Kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer.

Attractions
Local to the cottage we have nice walks along the river Almond and to
Huntingtower Castle, which is open all year round and has a custodian
to show you round and give all the local history.
The Castle holds wedding ceremonies and bagpipes can often be heard, especially
at weekends.
We have the lovely country Huntingtower Hotel within
half a mile and also a new pub around 10 minutes walk which serves food
all day.
Tesco Extra is 5 minutes drive away, this is open 24
hours, 7 days.
The 'Fair City' as Perth is known boasts many local historical attractions,
including Scone Palace, Balhousie Black Watch Museum,
to name but a few.
Also Perth Museum and Arty Gallery, Ferguson Gallery and
Frames Gallery for those interested in art. Locally we have Blair Castle
which holds the horse trials annually in August., Glamis Castle which
has a varied list of events each year.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Perth Tourist Information Centre head for A85 - Crieff road, at first
set of Traffic Lights (approx 100 yards) turn right, this is marked Huntingtower
Castle and Ruthvenfield.
Pass the castle on the right and continue down the brae, at the bottom
see sign for Ruthven Lade, turn in here and proceed down drive, see sign

On leaving Perth City or from North/South Road Networks, take A85 - Crieff
road, at first set of Traffic Lights (approx 100 yards) turn right, this
is marked Huntingtower Castle and Ruthvenfield.
Pass the castle on the right and continue down the brae, at the bottom
see sign for Ruthven Lade, turn in here and proceed down drive, see sign

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh airport follow directions for Forth road Bridge then Perth.
Take A85- Crieff road, at first set of Traffic Lights (approx 100 yards)
turn right, this is marked Huntingtower Castle and Ruthvenfield.
Pass the castle on the right and continue down the brae, at the bottom
see sign for Ruthven Lade, turn in here and proceed down drive, see sign
