Pine Trees Hotel Accommodation
The accommodation mix at the Pine Trees hotel comprises 20 uniquely designed
en-suite bedrooms, allowing us to cater for our guests according to their
individual taste and preference.
The range includes single, double and twin rooms including two four poster
rooms one of which is the luxurious Molyneux Suite perfect for that special
occasion, below are more detailed descriptions of the room types:
Standard Twin Rooms
2 single beds with en suite facilities & toiletries; complimentary
tea & coffee making facilities.
We have one of these room on the first floor and one on second floor.
Standard Double Rooms
5 double bed with en suite facilities & toiletries; complimentary
tea & coffee making facilities.
We have one of these room on the first floor and all others are on second
floor.
Single Rooms
1 x single bed with en suite facilities & toiletries; complimentary
tea & coffee making facilities.
We have one single room on the first floor with en-suite shower and 1
single room on second floor with en-suite shower and bath.
Superior Twin Rooms
2 x single bed with en suite facilities & toiletries; complimentary
tea & coffee making facilities.
All Superior twin rooms are situated on the first floor.
Larger rooms than standard rooms with more seating area and better views.
Superior Double Rooms
1 x either 5 or 6 double bed with en suite bath & shower
facilities & toiletries, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities
& a good seating area.
2 of our superior double rooms are situated on the second floor and one
has a balcony.

By Road
From Glasgow: Follow the M8/A80 which changes to the M9.
Then take the A9 to Perth, follow the Perth by-pass signs to Inverness
and continue on the A9.
Take the signposted exit to Pitlochry and drive through the main Street,
Atholl Road, and at the north end of town past all the shops, you will
see a turn on your right called Larchwood Road.
Turn in to Larchwood Road and at the top of the hill, the road bears round
to the left.
Keep going left and you will see the white entrance gates for the hotel.
Allow an hour and a half for your journey.
From Edinburgh: Head north over the Forth Road Bridge.
Follow the M90 to Perth, before taking the A9 to Pitlochry. The journey
will take about an hour and twenty minutes.
From Dundee: Follow the signs for Perth and Edinburgh.
Take the A85 to Perth, and then select the A9 for Pitlochry. Allow about
an hour for your journey.
From Aberdeen: Follow the A96 towards Inverness, before
joining the A9 to Pitlochry.
The exit from the A9 brings you in to Atholl Road.
Take the first road on your left after passing the Claymore Hotel and
Westlands Hotel.
This is Larchwood Road, and at the top of the hill, follow the bend to
the left and you will see the gates for Pine Trees Hotel.
Your journey will take around two and a half hours.
By Rail
Pitlochry is accessible by rail from throughout the country, with the
train station located in the town’s centre.
By Air
Pitlochry is comfortably reached from three of Scotland’s principal
airports, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, and car hire is widely available.
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Tourist Inforamtion Centre turn right heading along Atholl Road.
Head right through the town and after passing the road on your left signposted
for the railway station turn right onto Larchwood Road.
(The Hotel is signposted).
Follow this road up the hill and round the corner and you will see the
entrance to the Hotel.
Getting There by Railway
Pitlochry can be reached from all main train stations.
From the railway station head up the hill to the main road.
(Atholl Road) Turn left and follow the road taking the next right signposted
for the Hotel.
This will bring you onto Larchwood Road.
Follow the road up the hill and round the corner and you will see the
entrance to the Hotel.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From both Glasgow & Edinburgh head north towards Perth, then A9 signposted
to Inverness.
Pitlochry is situated approximately 25 miles north of Perth.
Taking the first exit signposted for Pitlochry, this will bring you into
the town.
Follow this road through the town and turn right after the road signposted
for the railway station.
(The Hotel is signposted) This will bring you onto Larchwood Road.
Follow the road up the hill and round the corner and you will see the
entrance to the Hotel.
Getting There by Ferry
From Rosyth head north towards Perth, then A9 signposted to Inverness.
Pitlochry is situated approximately 25 miles north of Perth.
