Creagalain Cottage, this very

The property sleeps 4+1 in 3 bedrooms upstairs.
The cottage has been fully renovated and provides very comfortable accommodation
in a quiet setting well back from the minor road.

Attractions
Just three miles south of the cottage lies the village of Portree, the
main shopping centre of the island.
There are two supermarkets here, as well as a bakery, butchers, chemist,
hardware and souvenir shops as well as garages and filling stations.
There are several hotels, bars, restaurants and cafes in the village and
the Aros centre with its sea-eagle and island exhibition and regular music,
cinema and theatre performances is on the outskirts.
Just down the main street from Portree's central square is the harbour.
Portree means 'The King's Port' in Gaelic and it is easy to see why.
Activities
There are many activities available on Skye; canoeing, pony-trekking,
golf and fishing to name but a few.
Boat trips run from many parts of the island and sea angling is also available.
Skye is an ideal location for walkers, climbers, nature lovers and anyone
who loves the great outdoors.
There are walks and climbs to suit all abilites from gentle paths and
forest trails to the Old Man of Storr, the mysterious Quiraing and the
majestic Cuillin.
Directions
The cottage is situated in Borve, three miles from Portree, the capital
of Skye.
Follow the A87 north from the junction near the village centre of Portree,
turning left following the signs towards Uig ferry.
Keep straight on out of Portree; thre miles further on, as you drive over
the crest of a brae, the village of Borve can be seen spread over the
hillside to your right.
Turn right onto the single track road that loops through the village,
keeping left at the only junction on the road. When you reach a sign marked
'24', turn right again.
A drive leads up to the cottage door.
