Getting there from the Information Centre
From Portree go north on A87 for 10 miles.
Turn right into glen.
Follow road for 1 mile.
House adjacent to telephone box.
Getting There by Car
Garybuie is 10 miles from Portree, (a 10-15 minute drive) and five miles
from Uig, with its ferry to the Western Isles (5-10 minute drive).
Portree has a variety of dining and shopping facilities, as has Uig although
on a smaller scale.
Via the Skye bridge or if you have crossed by ferry to Armadale follow
the signs for Portree.
Coming in to the town follow the signs to Uig, along the A87.
After 10 miles or so you will see a sign for the River Hinnisdal, followed
almost immediately by a right hand turn sign for Glenhinnisdal itself.
Head up the Glen for 1 mile and you come to Garybuie, we are the house
by the red telephone box.
Alternatively if arriving at Uig on the ferry, then head out on the A87
to Portree.
After five miles look for a left turn in to Glenhinnisdal
Getting There by Ferry
From Uig ferry terminal 4 miles south on A87, turn left into glen.
Follow road for 1 mile alongside Hinnisdal River.
House next to red telephone box.
