Directions
Portree is located on the Isle of Skye and is 209 miles north
of Glasgow Airport and 120 miles west of Inverness Airport.
From Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin, head north to Portree.
On the approach to Portree you will pass the Aros Experience on the left.
Heron Place is the 2nd street on the left. Givendale is then the 1st on
the right.
From Uig head south to Portree.
After you pass the roundabout at the supermarket in Portree, you will
then come to a T-junction where you will turn right.
After the petrol station, Heron Place is 75m on the right.
Givendale is then the 1st on the right.
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Portree Tourist Information Centre, take the Broadford Road out of
Portree.
On the outskirts of the village turn right into Heron Place which is 75
metres past Portree filling station.
Getting There by Car
From the Skye bridge carry on the A87.
Once in Portree take the second turn off on your left.
Givendale is overlooking the bay on Heron Place.
Getting There by Railway
From Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station - onto the A87, cross over the bridge
to the Isle of Skye.
Continue northwards on the A87 to Portree.
Once in Portree take the second turn off on your left.
Givendale is overlooking the bay on Heron Place.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport, join the A96 which will lead you into Inverness
town centre.
Drive through town centre following signs for A82.
Take the A82 to Invermoriston and then turn right onto (887) which will
then lead to the A87 which will take you all the way to the bridge to
Skye at Kyle of Lochalsh.
Carry on the A87 all the way to Portree.
Once in Portree take the second turn off on your left.
Givendale is overlooking the bay on Heron Place.
Getting There by Ferry
From Armadale Ferry Terminal - take the A851 northwards to Broadford.
At Broadford turn left onto the A87 following signs for Portree.
Once in Portree take the second turn off on your left.
