Gleniffer House is a traditional three storey
Georgian stone house with bay windows.
It is exceptionally well appointed and equipped and has a magnificent
location on the beach front of Portree Bay with wonderful panoramic
views over the Isle of Raasay, the Cuillin Hills and Portree Bay.
The house has been awarded four stars and we work hard to maintain
its standard and the house is centrally heated by night storage
heaters.
It is tastefully furnished and fully carpeted.

Gleniffer House Accommodation
Departure time is 10am and arrival is at 3pm.
Latest arrival is 10pm.
Stunning 3 bedroom three storey georgian house with amazing water front
location in the heart of Portree bay.
On the ground floor there is a large lounge with an open fireplace, a
fitted kitchen with original Aga cooker, a study and also a utility room
with washing machine and tumble drier.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a
second bedroom with an antique brass and cast iron double bed.
The second floor has one twin bedroom with vanity washbasin and also a
shower room with WC and hand basin.
Two double bedrooms, one ensuite, 1 twin.
Second bathroom.
It is tastefully furnished and fully carpeted with excellent period furniture.

Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Portree Tourist Information Centre turn right towards the Royal Hotel
opposite.
Walk around the Royal Hotel about 75 yards, turn right down to the harbour.
At the bottom of the hill turn left into Beaumont Crescent.
Getting There by Railway
From Station at Kyle of Lochalsh, travel by either car or bus to Isle
of Skye and Portree via A87.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport follow road to Kyle of Lochalsh A82 and A87 cross
over to Skye and follow A87 to Portree. On reaching Portree the house
is located in the harbour.
Getting There by Ferry
From Ferry Terminal in Uig follow the A87 to Portree, follow signs to
town centre and down to the harbour.
