Medina is a secluded modern bungalow situated
in a walled garden close to the northern shore of Portree Bay.
A Medina "cooked on the Aga" breakfast will suit all tastes.
The traditional selection includes the famous Stornoway black pudding
and free range eggs.
There is also a choice of Mallaig kippers, smoked haddock and Scottish
smoked salmon. Chilled fruits, yoghurts and cereals are offered
in addition to traditional Scottish porridge and all finished with
toasted bakers bread served with home made marmalade or jam. Special
dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice..

Medina Accommodation
The rooms are en-suite with bath and shower in each bathroom, private
parking, no smoking.
Two spacious double en-suite bedrooms situated on the ground floor.
Both rooms have a comfortable king-size bed, with an electric blanket
for extra snugness, plus an hospitality tray, television, hairdryer and
a host of little extras to make your stay more comfortable.
The two en-suite bathrooms have a WC, a wash-hand basin, a shower plus
a full size bath.
Fluffy white towels including large bath sheets are provided
The ground floor lounge/dining room is exclusively for guests' use.

Directions
Follow the signs for Staffin into the village of Portree, the road bears
right by the Co-op supermarket.
You are now above Portree Bay.
Take the next turning to the right at a fork there is a large sign for
the Cuillin Hills Hotel down the hill and the next hill bringing you alongside
the bay take the next turning a hard left up a hill and we are in the
first opening on the left look for our blue and white sign.
Getting There by Railway
Kyle of Lochalsh is on the mainland 35 miles away, again most trains connect
with a bus service to Portree.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Nearest airport is Inverness, which is 130 miles away.
Getting There by Ferry
Nearest ferry terminal is Armadale (from mainland), which is 37 miles
away.
Most crossing connect with a bus service to Portree.
Uig (from outer Isles) is located 18 miles away and is also connected
by a bus service to Portree.
