The Bothy at Number 7 is individually designed,
built in 2007 and equipped to luxurious standards providing wonderful
accommodation for two.
You will not lack any home comforts in our beautiful cottage-next-door
- the Bothy at Number 7, central for visiting all areas of Skye.
Designed by Skye-based award winning architects, it provides luxurious
accommodation for two with no expense spared in its construction
and fitting out.

The Bothy at Number 7 Accommodation
The Bothy at Number 7 is a one-bedroomed cottage rising in 2007 on the
site of an old wood and stone building on croft Number 7 Achachork, Portree,
Isle of Skye.
The bedroom's King-size canopied double bed and fitted furniture has been
specially built by Scotland's biggest hotel furnisher.
There are views of Ben Tianavaig to the east and the rolling moors to
the west or satellite tv all from the comfort of your bed.
The bathroom has a large oval bath, walk in multi-head shower, toilet,
bidet and wash basin, and all towels will be provided along with little
extras.

Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Portree Tourist Iinformation Centre follow the A855 Staffin road
for around 2km.
Turn left when you see the Achachork sign.
The Bothy is almost 2km along this road on the left.
Getting There by Car
From Skye Bridge A87 follow signs to Portree.
Bear right into the village on the A855 and follow signs for Staffin.
Around 2km out of Portree turn left at the Achachork sign.
The Bothy is almost 2km along this road on the left. Satnav users avoid
Mallaig unless you have checked ferry availability.
Getting There by Railway
The world famous Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh line will take you through
the heart of the Highlands to its terminus near the Skye Bridge.
There is a bus service from here to Portree where a taxi or hire car can
be arranged.
Or try the steam train (May - Oct) from Fort William to Mallaig and catch
the ferry, the proper way to start a Hebridean holiday.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Inverness Airport is around 2.5 hours away by hire car via Loch Ness.
Glasgow Airport is 5 hours away by car or a little longer by direct coach
service to Portree.
Getting There by Ferry
You can still come over the sea to Skye by travelling the Road to the
Isles to Mallaig and catching the ferry to Armadale in south Skye.
Cars are now carried throughout the year, but please check.
If you are adventurous and really want to avoid the Skye Bridge turn off
the A87 at Shiel Bridge and follow the signs for the tiny Glenelg Ferry
(summer only) to Kylerhea in south Skye.
