Attractions

Dunvegan Castle is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and has been the stronghold of the Chiefs of MacLeod for nearly 800 years.
Built on a rock, it has survived clan battles, the extremes of feast and famine and the profound social, political and economic changes through which the Western Highlands and Islands have passed.
This estate, once part of the traditional lands of Clan Donald, was purchased by the Clan Donald Lands Trust in 1971.
The Trust has restored the gardens and part of the Castle, created the Museum of the Isles, founded the Study Centre, built holiday accommodation and established a visitor centre that appeals to all age groups.
Skye Guides are climbers with a serious passion for their patch.
We know that we have the best mountains in Britain and are confident that we provide climbing adventures that are second to none.
Acres of unclimbed rock accompanies the hundreds of classic routes already established.
Winter or summer, guiding and instruction for individual days or five-day courses is available for all levels of ability.
The Storr is a rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye.
The hill presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west.
