The Parkstone celebrated its 70th year in business in March 2003.
Owned and managed by the same family during this time, the Hotel has committed

The Hotel has 30 bedrooms (non-smoking) - all with their own bathroom,
in-house video, colour TV, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer and hospitality
tray.
The majority of the rooms overlook the seafront with the remainder facing
the gardens.
There are also ground floor rooms available with disabled access.
We have a 24-hour Reception service that allows for late arrivals and
early morning departures.
If you are leaving the Hotel before 0700 hours (0800 on Sundays) a Continental
breakfast will be served, thereafter cooked breakfast is available until
0930 hours Monday-Saturday and 1000 hours on Sunday.

Prestwick is situated in the heart of Burns Country - visit the Burns
Heritage Centre, Burns Cottage and The Auld Kirk and Rozelle Park.
Culzean Castle and Country Park (south of Ayr) and Kelburn Park and the
Vikingar Centre (near Largs) are within 30 minutes driving distance.
The Isle of Arran can be reached by ferry from Ardrossan - the island
has its own distillery, cheese-making and chocolate factory, Arran Aromatics
and other cottage industries.
There are several parks catering for children within driving distance,
such as Loudoun Castle Theme Park and The Heads of Ayr Farm Park.
Apart from the many golf courses in the area, there are other sporting
and cultural activities to enjoy. Ayr Racecourse hosts many meetings throughout
the year.
There are also several riding schools, fisheries, sailing clubs and boat
trips within the vicinity.
Rugby Park, the home of Kilmarnock Football Club, which currently plays
in the Scottish Premier League, is 15 minutes from the Hotel.
Going further afield, a trip to Glasgow (45 minutes by train) will provide
the ladies with superb shopping (Buchanan Galleries, Buchanan Street,
Princes Square, St Enoch Centre, Argyll Street and Sauchiehall Street).
The Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow Science Museum, The Burrell Collection
are only a few of the wonderful attractions within the city.

From Ayr Tourist Information Centre follow signs for Prestwick.
At Prestwick Cross main traffic lights turn left.
Take last turning on left before Promenade.
Getting There by Railway
From Prestwick Town Railway Station turn right towards seafront taking
last turning on left before Promenade.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Prestwick Airport follow town centre signs, turn right at main traffic
lights.
Continue passed railway station and Prestwick Golf Club.
Take last turning on left before Promenade.
Getting There by Ferry
From Troon Ferry Terminal follow signs for Prestwick.
Turn right at main town centre traffic lights.
