Most of the seats on the train are pre-sold on the West Coast Railways website but if you do not have a ticket there is one carriage with seats sold on the day. The train departs at 10:20 and we would suggest that you get there early and buy your ticket from the conductor on the platform.

Alternatively it does appear to be possible to buy tickets the day before travel from the train conductor when the train arrives back from Mallaig at 16:00. There are three long stay car parks around the Fort William railway station which we can direct you to.
