Gleniffer
B&B is situated on the road from the traffic lights at Market
to the Railway Station.
Gleniffer is a beautiful Victorian house built in the late 19th Century
on three floors.
The front of the house has a northerly aspect, but the rear faces due
south, enjoying the sun all day.
The house still retains many of its original features like servants bells,
pictures-rails and fireplaces.
Gleniffer Accommodation
Morning Sun Room, recently redecorated and refurbished
is a bright double room with private en suite with shower, on the East
side of the house.
The recently refurbished Northern Lights Room faces north
with views over surrounding countryside.
It is a large light filled twin bedded room with private en suite with
shower, colour TV, DVD/CD player, radio alarm, hairdryer, complimentary
bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Garden Room is a large double room with garden view
to south.
This room is bright and airy.
Check-in from 5 pm onwards unless by prior arrangement

Attractions
Stonehaven has many attractions to offer its visitors, the most
outstanding of which is the dramatic and impressive Dunnottar Castle,
perched on its cliff top position above the North Sea.
Beside the beach is the only Art Deco sea water olympic sized outdoor
swimming pool in Scotland.
At the opposite end of the bay is the golf course with spectacular views
and dolphin watching.
Below the golf course is the Highland Boundary Line where one of the oldest
Scottish fossils ever found was discovered.
At the southern end of Stonehaven Bay is the quaint, colourful harbour
and Mercat Cross and Toolbooth Museum.
Stonehaven is the gateway to Royal Deeside.
Activities
From the harbour, fishing and birdwatching trips are available to the
RSPB Bird sanctuary at Fowlsheugh.
White knuckle boat trips can be had from MRI.
In the surrounding countryside there are challenging mountain bike trails
and numerous pathways and forests for walking.
The Whisky, Castle and Victorian Heritage Trails.
Close by is the leisure centre with indoor pool and recreation grounds
with tennis courts, bowling green, indoor bowling and putting green and
the River Cowie for angling.

Getting there from the Information Centre
Turn right at traffic lights at the Market Square.
Follow the road up Evan Street until it veers to right on to Arduthie
Road.
Gleniffer is on the left 50 metres past Arduthie School.
Distance from lights approximately 500 metres.
Getting There by Car
Follow A90 to Stonehaven.
From the south take first exit for Stonehaven.
At Traffic Lights turn left and follow this road up hill, veering right
Gleniffer is 50 metres past Arduthie School on the left.
From Aberdeen on the A90 take the second exit for Stonehaven signposted
Spurryhillock .
Follow this road down past railway Station, Gleniffer is on the right
300 metres from station.

Exit railway station.
Follow signs for town centre.
Gleniffer is on the right 300 metres from station.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Aberdeen Airport follow signs south for A90 Dundee and Perth.
Take the 2nd exit for Stonehaven, approximately 15 miles south of Aberdeen.
Follow this road past Arduthie Hospital and the railway station.
Getting There by Ferry
From Aberdeen follow signs south for A90 Dundee and Perth.
Take 2nd exit from dual carriageway for Stonehaven, approximately 15 miles
south of Aberdeen.
Continue down this road, past Arduthie hospital and railway station.
Gleniffer is on the right 300 metres past the railway station.
