Camusbeag is a unique cottage is situated on
the hillside behind Stromness, and has magnificent views over the
town and harbour, and down Scapa Flow. Enjoy the endless fascination of the ferries coming in and out explore the cobbled lanes of the town on foot sample the excellent food and drink available in the local hotels & restaurants. |
The cottage is on 2 levels linked by a wooden paddle staircase (pictured
above) and is ideal for 1 or 2 people sharing a double bed settee.
On the ground floor is the entrance hall, toilet/shower room and the kitchen/dining
area.
The upper level consists of the bed/sitting area with another door to
the outside.
The bed settee opens out to make a double bed (just over 4' wide &
6'3" long).
There is a colour television with freeview box and all towels, bed linen
and electricity are included in the price.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Stromness TIC proceed along Ferry Road turn first left at roundabout,
turn first right onto Back Road. Camusbeag is situated on the left on
the brow of the hill.
Getting there by Aeroplane
British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness,
Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney).
Getting There by Ferry
NorthLink Ferries from Aberdeen or Lerwick to Kirkwall.
NorthLink Ferries from Scrabster to Stromness.
Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope.
