Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Kirkwall T.I.C. turn left on to Junction Road.
At the roundabout turn left and follow A965 to Stromness, at the roundabout
turn right, Ferrybank is on the left hand side just past the Police Station.
From Stromness Information Centre walk to the top of pier straight ahead.
Turn right on the main street. Our home is 300 metres on the right hand
side next to the 30mph sign.
Getting There by Railway
Scotrail from all Scottish departures to either Thurso or Wick or Aberdeen.
Getting there by Aeroplane
British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness,
Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney).
Getting There by Ferry
From Stromness - Scrabster terminal to Ferrybank, Stromness is 300 metres.
NorthLink Ferries from Aberdeen or Lerwick to Kirkwall.
NorthLink Ferries from Scrabster to Stromness.
Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope.
John o' Groats ferries from John o' Groats to Burwick (May - September)
