Lindisfarne is a modern detached house set
in a quiet location one mile from Stromness on main bus route, with
elevated views over Stromness Scapa Flow and Hoy.
Accommodation consists of four twin bedded rooms and one three
bedded room all en-suite.
This accommodation also offers full central heating, a residents
lounge with tea and coffee supplied and your own door keys to come
and go as you please. All bedrooms are en-suite. |
Upstairs residents lounge offers views of Stromness harbour/town, open
farmland to the rear, Stenness loch and views towards Dounby and Burgar
hill.
Accomodation consists of a lounge, fully fitted kitchen diner that includes
a washer/dryer, two bedrooms sleeping four, one double bedroom and a twin
bedroom (can be made into a king size bed). The toilet room has an enclosed
shower, whb and w/c.

Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
Take the main Kirkwall Road and look for the Stromness Swimming Pool on
your left, carry straight on until you see a black and white sign with
Bed and Breakfast then take the first turning on your right past the sign,
you can see the house from the main road. By Taxi, ask for Mrs Worthington
at Lindisfarne.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From main entrance turn right towards Kirkwall.
Carry on main road until you reach a mini roundabout turn left until you
come to a T junction this takes you to the main Kirkwall, Stromness Road
(Mills Petrol Station).
Turn left and after approximately 14 miles you will come to a road sign
marked, Birsay and Earls Palace on it, approximately 40 yards on take
a left turn.
We are the first big house up the lane, overlooking the town and harbour.
Getting There by Ferry
Take the main Kirkwall Road and look for the Stromness Swimming Pool on

sign, you can see the house from the main road.
