The a la carte Scapa Flow Restaurant prides itself on using the finest
local Orcadian produce the very best grass-reared beef, fresh fish and
succulent shellfish.
Indulge in the charm of a picturesque village harbour view from the bay
windows of the Hamnavoe Lounge Bar where award winning Orkney Ales are
available on tap or enjoy a welcoming open fire and warm atmosphere in
the traditional splendour of the Flattie Bar.
Residents can enjoy a cosy quiet atmosphere in the Still Room with a choice
of over one hundred malt whiskies.
To the rear of the Hotel we have a large beautifully kept Victorian Garden
where residents can enjoy a stroll in the evening or a quiet refreshment
whilst relaxing in the afternoon.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Stromness Tourist Information Centre turn left along harbour front
to the fountain, cross street to the hotel.
Getting There by Railway
Scotrail from all Scottish departures to either Thurso or Wick or Aberdeen
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Kirkwall Airport turn right follow road into Kirkwall then follow
signs for the A965 to Stromness, hotel is on the harbour front.
British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness,
Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney).
Getting There by Ferry
From Stromness Ferry Terminal turn left along harbour front to the fountain,
cross street to the hotel.
NorthLink Ferries from Aberdeen or Lerwick to Kirkwall. NorthLink Ferries
from Scrabster to Stromness.
Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope.
John o' Groats ferries from John o' Groats to Burwick (May - September)
