Edderton
Inn is situated in the small Ross-shire village of Edderton,
nestling between the Dornoch Firth and the foothills of Beinn Tharsuinn
and the Struie Hills.
Located two miles from the main A9 trunk road it is ideally located for
touring Northern Scotland with the north/north west coast approximately
1 hour's drive.
The Inn was originally a nineteenth century crofthouse and was turned
into a hotel in the 1970’s.
Edderton Inn Accommodation
The Edderton Inn has been completely refurbished and has five en-suite
bedrooms, three double rooms, one twin room (offers full disabled facilities)
and a family room (double with adjoining bunk room) to sleep up to four.
All the en-suites are newly fitted and are larger than average offering
3 piece white suites with "grohe" power showers above the baths.
One of the twin bedrooms is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible
for the disabled.
The ensuite meets DDA requirements, has a sunken shower for easy accessibility
for user and helper.
The decor offers a fresh, bright yet modern feel and all furniture is
new which ensures a comfortable night's sleep.
All rooms contain TV with freeview, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled
water and a hairdryer.
Each room has a gun safe installed for the safe storage of firearms during
the winter shooting/stalking season.

The restaurant offers fresh homemade traditional fayre in the evening
6pm to 9pm and uses local produce/suppliers as much as possible.
You can enjoy your meal whilst admiring the view.
The Lounge bar is cosy with a log burning stove, comfortable sofas and
low tables for you to enjoy a drink at any time.
We offer a selection of bottled lager and ales as well as a good selection
of malt whisky, other spirits and soft drinks.

Edderton Inn is an ideal base for exploring North & West Scotland
with walking , cycling, wildfowl shooting, deer stalking and golf all
within easy reach.

Getting There by Car
From A9 past Tain follow A836 from Dornoch Bridge roundabout for 2 miles
into Edderton village, turn right, follow road for ¼ mile.
Getting There by Railway
From Inverness take a train to Tain station, Edderton is 5 miles from
Tain.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Inverness airport is 48 miles approximately 1 hour away.
