Tain hotelSeaboard Breaks recently constructed Scandinavian pine log cabin is situated 10 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Seaboard Villages of Shandwick, Balintore and Hilton.

The cabin offers stunning views West to Ben Wyvis and North to the hills and mountains of East Sutherland.
With just a 40 minute drive from the city of Inverness, 'Taigh Fiodha' ( Gaelic for wooden house) gives an ideal base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.

Seaboard Breaks Accommodation

The log cabin is purpose built and offers very comfortable accommodation.
It is tastefully furnished throughout and can comfortably sleep six.
The cabin is of modern design and consideration has been made to customers requiring mobility aids, such as a ramp, large entrance area and wide doors throughout.
Rooms include one double bedroom, one bunk bedroom and one galleried bedroom which can be large king size or twin bedded.
Outside you can sit or dine on the large veranda (there are no midges here) and enjoy watching the sunset late into the evening.

Birdwatching
Nigg bay situated 10 minutes from the cabin is an extensive area of mudflat, saltmarsh and wet grassland nestled on the Cromarty Firth. Any visit between October and March would be rewarded with a sight of countless wading birds, such as bartailed godwits and knots.

Fishing
Being right on the coast, and just outside the traditional fishing villages of Shandwick, Balintore and Hilton offers the keen sea angler an ideal opportunity for a fishing trip.
A more sedate form of Fishing is available on Loch Eye.

Golfing
The world famous Royal Dornoch Championship Course (currently ranked 15th) is just a 20 minute drive from Broomton.
It shares stunning views across the Dornoch Firth and Sutherland hills with The Struie, an 18 hole links course which complements the main course.
