Ullapool, an appealing port and resort in Wester Ross, the fishing port of Ullapool in Wester Ross comes alive in summer when it receives a large influx of holidaymakers. Many move on by ferry to Stornoway on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, but it is a good base for exploring the area, and has a marvellous setting jutting out into Loch Broom. centre of Ullapool, in this stunning area of North West Scotland in the
West Highlands area of Wester Ross.
Kilbrannan Accommodation
On one level throughout, this house offers many well-appointed fittings and stunning views towards the surrounding mountain ranges and Large Pine Forest behind Kilbrannan. Kilbrannan is ideally situated to ensure a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Kilbrannan is a 4 star large bungalow; sleeping up to 6 persons (cot and high chair also available), situated in its own enclosed secluded garden in the elevated position of Braes of Ullapool, Wester Ross, Scotland.
This large and luxurious self catering home in Ullapool has 3 bedrooms: 1 double with ensuite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms as well as a separate family bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is double-glazing and oil-fired central heating throughout, with stunning views towards the surrounding mountain ranges and a large Pine forest to the rear of Kilbrannan.
There is also a south-facing Lounge with TV, Video, DVD and Satellite TV (FreeSat from Sky).
The Kitchen is extremely well equipped and contains a very high standard of modern appliances, including: Large Range Cooker (Gas Hob with 6 rings/ Delonghi Electric Professional Oven) with extractor fan, Microwave, Dish Washer, Larder Fridge, Kettle and many cupboards and storage space.
A wide range of Crockery is to be found in the cupboards and provides many utensils for up to 6 people, some supplies of coffee, tea, sugar, pint of milk and other household supplies are provided for all guests for your arrival.
From the Kitchen, a door leads to the Utility Room, which contains Chest Freezer, Washing Machine, Boiler (Oil fired) and Tumble Dryer as well as portable drying facilities. A door exits from here into the garden and drying facilities outside.
For families, a Travel Cot and High Chair can also be provided (please ask when making your booking) and the garden is surrounded by enclosed fencing so that children can play safely with the driveway gates closed if required. There is also plenty Car Parking with room for at least 4 or 5 cars.
There is ramped access to the front door with plenty of room for wheelchair access throughout the house. However, there are no disabled bathroom facilities within the house.
All towels and bed linen are provided with no extra charge and all beds are made up for your arrival. There are no further costs to pay, price includes all Heating and Electricity and a welcome pack of starter supplies for your stay. Travel Cot and High Chair also available at no extra charge, please ask when booking. Families welcomed.
Ullapool is a perfect holiday destination, only 55 miles from Inverness and easily accessible with many amenities in the village or a good starting point for your travels either north, south, east or to The Hebrides (Ferry Terminal for Stornoway is in Ullapool).

/ Visitor Centre, 9-hole Golf course, Supermarket, Cafés and Restaurants,
and a variety of local craft, gift, book and art shops.
Braes:
Approximately ½ mile from Kilbrannan, lies the Ullapool Hill Path:
A magnificent walk (1-1½ hours duration) into centre of Ullapool
itself over the hills and through the forest nearby. Other shorter walks
are also available from Kilbrannan.
