Set within a courtyard setting in the grounds of East Kirkland farm.
Situated overlooking Wigtown bay nature reserve and surrounded by stunning
scenery, beaches, historical sites, forest parks and numerous other visitor
attractions.
Courtyard Cottages Accommodation
Rose Cottage
This cottage forms part of the original farmhouse which dates back to
the 16th century.
This spacious cottage sleeps up to 6 persons and comprises of one double
bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bunk bed style bedroom.
All accommodation in the cottage is on the ground floor.
This is a charming traditional cottage with open fire in the living room.
Stables and granary mews
These cosy semi-detached mews cottages sleep up to 4 persons each and
consist of one double bedroom, one bunk bed style bedroom, bathroom(+shower),
open plan living/dining/kitchen with sliding double doors onto private
patio area over looking bay.
Both cottages have log burning stoves.
All accommodation is on the ground floor.
The Barn Cottage
This cottage was converted from the original barn and sleeps up to 3 persons.
It consists of an open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area and bathroom
(+shower) on the ground floor.
An attractive open staircase leads to the gallery bedroom.
This cottage has a log burning stove in the lining area.
Garden cottage
This cottage is very cosy and can sleep up to 3 persons it has an open
plan kitchen/ dining / living area with log burning stove.
A large bedroom with four poster bed.
All accommodation is on the ground floor.

Directions
Getting There by Car
From North west take the A77 in Glasgow via Prestwick towards Ayr.
Continue to Girvan And take the A714 to Newton Stewart.
Go through Newton Stewart and at the roundabout take the A714 to Wigtown.
From North east proceed south to Dumfries and thence the A75 to Newton
Stewart roundabout and take the A714 to Wigtown.
From south take the A1, A66, A69 Route or the M6 to Gretna.
At Gretna turn onto A75 towards Stranraer via Dumfries and look for the
A714 left turn at the Newton Stewart roundabout.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is Reasonably close.
Newcastle Airport is within 3 Hours drive.
Getting There by Ferry
From Northern Ireland take the A75 towards Dumfries, at the Newton Stewart
roundabout take the A714 to Wigtown.
