we are situated in Wigtown in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland
overlooking Wigtown Bay by the Solway Firth in Galloway, Southwest Scotland.
Wigtown a lively little town is Scotland's National Book Town and has

As well as the Galloway Forest Park with it's numerous fishing lochs and
rivers, fishing both for salmon, sea-trout or brown trout and coarse can
be had in the river Bladnoch or Rivers Cree close by.
There is a tackle shop in Newton Stewart who can provide live bait and
permits.
Walking & Cycling Hill and Coastal
Take a walk in nearby Kilsture Forest or down to the Harbour.
The Galloway Forest Park is just to the North and East of Newton Stewart
with 300 square miles of forest Hills and Lochs.
Horse Riding
Directions
If travelling by car take the A75 Gretna turn off from the A74(M) (from
the South) or the Lockerbie turn off from the North and head for Newton
Stewart, following the scenic A75 and bypassing Dumfries.
Once at Newton Stewart take the left turn A714 South for 6 miles or so
to Wigtown - Turn left onto the square past the Bowling Green and you
will find us in Bank Street just down the Hill from the imposing County
Buildings.
From the North
Take the A77 and then the A714 South to Newton Stewart.
After Newton Stewart rejoin the A714 to Wigtown.
