Avocet House is an upmarket, luxury , Self Catering home situated on Thesen Islands in Knysna. It has five double rooms, four with full bathrooms en suite and the fifth with a shower ant toilet. Swimming pool, with safety cover, access to all island amenities, including childrens play park, orchard, strawberry picking, tennis, squash, mini golf and secluded man-made beach. Avocet house is situated very near the entrance to the security village, within easy walking distance to the Knysna Waterfront. A private jetty is available on the island for mooring your own boat.

Man-made beaches, a maze for the entertainment of all ages, free strawberry picking, Squash, tennis and 10 kilometres of walking / jogging paths are only a few of the activities available exclusively to island dwellers. Just 5 minutes stroll to the centre of Knysna, and right at the door of the Waterfront, you will have access to more than 100 restaurants and coffee shops during your stay.
