Elephant Rest is situated in peaceful surroundings of the indigenous Lawnwood forest near Knysna. Offering a timber cottage with three bedrooms furnished with double
and single beds as well as two bathrooms, one with shower and the
other with a bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering
with a large fridge, oven and gas stove top. The lounge is open
plan with a TV, a DVD player as well as a fireplace. The cottage

enjoy spectacular sunsets on the spacious deck overlooking the dam

Visit Mother Holly’s Tea Garden or the Dalene Matthee monument under the gentle giant Yellowwoods tree. The area is a real treat for bird watching and bird watchers should keep a look out for the Knysna Loerie and the Nerina Trogon.
